One doctor in Florida sees the potential of VR as ‘distraction therapy’ to limit the anxiety & discomfort associated with immunizations.
His studies have shown that by letting the children choose between a rollercoaster ride, helicopter ride or hot air balloon ride, fear and anxiety is reduced in 94.1%.
