Researchers conducted a study to determine the effectiveness of VR Therapy to reduce pain in patients undergoing various medical procedures, such as burn injury treatments, chemotherapy, surgery, dental treatment, and other therapies or diagnostics. The study found “promising results”, and underscored the need for more future research and a need to design systems that are geared towards providing Immersive VR/360 Therapy effectively and at a low cost.
