There has never been a more important time to give extra love, care and attention to our elderly population in nursing homes and long term care.
They are our parents, our grandparents, relatives, and friends that gave us guidance, nurturing, laughter, and tears throughout our youth.
Crosswater’s VR/360 therapy has aimed to improve the quality of life for residents in long term care by harnessing the immersive engagement achieved with Virtual Reality, coupled with the emotive power of music therapy.

In collaboration with @PrimacareLiving, Centre for Aging and Brain Health Innovation, and @WesternUniversity, The Albert Project research study sought to determine whether immersive experiences can calm the agitated and elevate the depressed dementia residents – ultimately providing comfort to them, their families, and their caregivers as they confront the deterioration associated with dementia and Alzheimers.
