New Measurement of Time

The time has come for VR! Facebook has created a new unit of time to accommodate VR production. A ‘flick’ is smaller than a nanosecond (previously the smallest unit of time measurement) and is used to precisely pair 360 video with spatial audio. Unfathomably small increments of time can put video and audio out of sync and tarnish the immersive impact that VR has on its users. This is good news for us at Crosswater. As VR/360 producers, we strive to provide full immersion by means of 360 video, spatial audio, and virtual environment design. Contact Crosswater at (716) 884-8486, crosswater.net, Facebook Messenger, or LinkedIn to learn more about the Virtual possibilities. #facebook #time #flick #VR #production #media #mediaproduction #virtualreality #buffalo #VRmarketing #VRproduction #360video #spatialaudio #immersive #impact #experience #virtual #welcometothefuture
